Dr. Sumeet Bhatt, MD is an experienced emergency physician who has cared for patients in hospital emergency departments and freestanding emergency rooms for 19 years.

Experience and Training

Dr. Bhatt completed his Emergency Medicine residency training at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

He spent the first 13 years of his career working in busy hospital emergency departments in Louisville, Kentucky, and Tampa, Florida. For the past nine years, he has worked in freestanding emergency rooms in New Braunfels and Houston. He has enjoyed providing emergency medical care to Houston’s central community at Rice Emergency Room for the past four years.
