If your illness or injury requires further care, Rice Emergency Room helps you find the best care possible. In cases where overnight observation is needed, Rice Emergency Room offers a luxurious, private observation suite.

If a patient needs specialty care that we cannot offer or surgical attention with a longer hospital stay. Our team carefully coordinates with local hospitals to create a seamless, expedited transition.

Anytime a transfer is required for further care or monitoring, you will not incur a charge for a second emergency room visit. Rice Emergency Room will arrange for you to be admitted directly to a room at any hospital of your choice, or be taken straight to the cath-lab or surgical suite.

Whether you are in our emergency room or being transferred to another facility, Rice ER always provides superior care every step of the way.
