If your illness or injury requires further care, Rice Emergency Room takes careful steps to ensure the best care possible. In cases where observation is needed, Rice Emergency Room offers a luxurious, private observation suite.
Occasionally a patient needs specialty care, surgical attention or a longer hospital stay. In these cases, our Physicians coordinate with local hospitals to create a seamless, expedited transition.
Anytime a transfer is required for further care or monitoring, you will not incur a charge for a second emergency room visit. Rice Emergency Room will arrange for you to be admitted directly to a room at any hospital of your choice, or be taken straight to the cath-lab or surgical suite.
Whether in our emergency room, observation or being transferred to another facility, Rice ER will provide you with superior care every step of the way.
